Pros and Cons of Audio/ Video Podcasting

http://podcastlogo.lemotox.de/ Pros and Cons of Audio/ Video Podcasting While completing the podcasting assignment, it provided an opportunity to explore technology further.   Initially, I was nervous about doing this assignment and editing the interview.   Once I got over the initial anxiety, saved the interview, started editing with Wave Editor software and 6 hours later the podcast was complete. Pros There are several advantages to using podcasting in adult learning. The lesson plans for this week were designed for the adult learner to utilize the wiki as a resource bank to put information about houses they have found while doing research.  From there the learner has the opportunity to put the knowledge they learn over the 8 weeks into action when they can virtually arrange to meet with the Real Estate Agent through the wiki page, VA loan officer, and all resources necessary for this project will be located on this wiki page.  Additionally, learners will need to meet periodically using zoom and document all work being done on a wiki page. So the underlying question is where would you like to live?  Do you want to live near work, in the city, country, near the water or a park? Additionally, the learners will take into consideration how much they want to spend on this "first" time dream home or if it is their second or third home.  Each individual will address their personal needs with a fictitious budget of $250,000 to...

This week's blogging topic is "Wikis for collaborative learning, knowledge construction, critical thinking, and contextual application." Hi, this week we take a look at how wikis can be used for collaborative learning,  learning construction, critical thinking, and contextual application.
